Meet Mrs. Anderson

I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with my Bachelors of Science in Visual Art and Education. I have always been interested in art, but I also always wanted to be a teacher. So, I decided on both! I have been teaching at WOLCA for four years, but this is my fist year teaching second grade. My Mom has been a special education teacher for 31 years! Her dedication and love for her students inspired me to become a teacher. I also have 3 younger siblings: Loren (23), Christopher (20), and Kayla (12). I am married  to the most amazing husband who supports me in everything I do. He is in the Air Force so sometimes he has to travel far a way. When he is away, my two dogs Beans & Lulu to keep me company.

Along with art and teaching I have many other passions. I love to write, play piano, sing, take pictures, eat, snuggle with my dogs, and ride roller coasters. Not only do I teach in school, but I teach at my church, too. I teach the teen sunday school and work in the youth group and the children's church. I love being in second grade because it allows me to bring my different passions and abilities together in one place. My goal this year is to help you learn lots of new things, help you find what you are passionate about, and help you to love learning!
